It’s very easy to fall for a scam like Countdown to Profits if you have no experience with making money online, especially in the field of affiliate marketing. With the way that it is presented in the video and the website, one would think that making money online is easy. They couldn’t be further from the truth. It is hard work, requires a lot of knowledge and experience, and it takes a long time to take off and really start earning you real money. In reality, they are selling you a dream, but certainly, not a program that will make you rich overnight as they present it.
Name: Countdown to Profits
Cost: $97 plus expensive upsells
The problem with programs such as this is that they are completely useless. They provide you with information on how to get into affiliate marketing, but present it in such a way that it requires zero effort or knowledge. Yes, you will get training videos, but in reality you are buying into this blindly. This is a complex market and difficult to learn and understand. Even with tutorial videos, it’s a matter of mastering it that earns you the profits, not just following steps. Not only this, but there are plenty of quality programs out there that provide you with the tools, help, and real training to help guide you to success, rather than lie through their teeth about anything and everything just to get you to fork over your money.
What is Countdown to Profits?
This is basically a training program for earning money online through affiliate marketing. In reality, you will get zero information as to what it really is, what the program consists of in reality, how the material is presented to you, or any true guarantee that the provided information really will be useful. See, they can provide you with plenty of training materials, but if they are not presented in the right way you will understand nothing of it.
The website itself screams scam. It has very aggressive marketing, a whole lot of exaggeration, and zero truth. Not only do they claim there is limited space (I made sure to check in several days to see if at any point will those last few places be taken up, but it never happened). This is just a push tactic to get you to sign up immediately and not take the time to research or think.
To add to this, when the video starts you are told that for every minute you will earn $1 and by the end of the video he will pay you $500 just for watching it. Let’s get this clear. He has worded it well, but you will NOT be getting $500 just for watching the Countdown to Profits scam video. In fact, you will not be getting any money at all, just wasting out of pocket.
You are also introduced to Richard Paul who is claimed to be the creator of this scam. I want to make it very clear that this is not him, and that most likely a Richard Paul does not even exist behind this scam. It’s just a made up character to make it all seem more legit. The guy you are seeing is a cheap actor reading a script.
Aside from the Countdown to Profits scam video you are presented with a list of fake Facebook comments from happy users. If this really was a real Facebook widget with comments added to the site, then you would be able to click on the names and open their profiles. Not only this, but you would actually be able to find the Facebook page of this scam and see them there. I’ll save you the time, they are not. Not to mention that they use these same images in the video with different names and comments. These are just stolen images and fake comments for show.
With the testimonials in the purchase page it doesn’t get any better. A quick crop and search of the images will reveal that they are also stolen and reused heavily on many other websites as well.
I think the truth is best revealed when you decide to read the terms and conditions. Under Liability you are basically told that this is completely useless, and that you will not make any money.
They go on to make sure that you are also aware that regardless what they claim about a money back guarantee in the purchase page, you are actually, in fact, not entitled to one. There are no refunds for products or services. Deal with it. In short. You also get a list of what the different packages offer.
If all of these lies were not enough, when you decide to do a quick search of the domain, you realize that it’s quite a popular little IP with 12 different scam websites all offering more or less the same types of scams. Anything with such in depth connection to so many other scams, so many lies, and zero proof to back it up is nothing more than a scam as well.
With this program you will get nothing more than a low quality training system that will get you nowhere fast. Don’t think that they will stop at $97 though. It will end up costing you far more than that by the end of your initial registration. With the numerous upsells they will forcefully push on you and the offers to upgrade your membership, you will be surprised how fast and how much they will be able to steal from you. This is how they make their living, lying to people, so if you have already fallen for this, don’t be angry at yourself, they are professionals.
Avoid the Countdown to Profits scam program unless you want to waste your money and your time on a low quality program with shady connections and zero truth to it.
